Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the DinerEase platform including our website at dinerease.com, our mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform") you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DinerEase. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time with reasonable notice provided via email or an in-platform notification.
The Platform & Our Role
DinerEase is a Restaurant Reservation System (RRS) that connects guests with restaurants across Morocco. We act as a technology intermediary we facilitate the reservation process, but the contractual relationship for your dining experience is between you and the restaurant.
DinerEase is not a restaurant operator, food service provider, or party to the dining contract. We do not guarantee the quality of food, service, or any aspect of your dining experience beyond the reservation confirmation itself.

Accounts & Access
Restaurant accounts
Restaurant owners and staff must register for an account to access the DinerEase dashboard. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@dinerease.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Guest access
Guests booking through DinerEase do not need to create an account. A unique confirmation number is issued for each reservation, which can be used to retrieve or cancel a booking. This confirmation number should be kept confidential.
Roles & permissions
Restaurant accounts are subject to role-based access controls: Owners have full access to their restaurant data; Staff members have operational access limited to reservations; Admins have platform-level access. Each role carries specific responsibilities and restrictions.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or prohibited by these Terms. Specifically, you must not:
- Make fraudulent, speculative, or false reservations
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform
- Impersonate any person, restaurant, or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications or spam
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
DinerEase reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account found in violation of these prohibitions, without prior notice and without liability.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the DinerEase name and brand is the exclusive property of DinerEase SARL or its licensors and is protected under applicable Moroccan and international intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any Platform content without prior written consent from DinerEase.
Restaurant owners who upload content to the Platform (menus, photos, descriptions) grant DinerEase a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Moroccan law, DinerEase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
This includes, without limitation: loss of revenue or profit, loss of data, failure of a restaurant to honor a reservation, any act or omission of a restaurant partner, or any issues arising from technical failures outside our reasonable control.
DinerEase's total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) to DinerEase in the twelve months prior to the claim.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco.

Our Commitment to Privacy
DinerEase collects and processes personal data solely to operate the reservation platform and improve the experience for guests and restaurant partners. We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not use your information for advertising purposes.
This Privacy Policy applies to all data collected via dinerease.com and any associated applications. It complies with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the Protection of Personal Data and aligns with GDPR principles.
What Data We Collect
From guests making reservations
- Identity data: full name
- Contact data: email address, phone number
- Reservation data: date, time, number of guests, special requests, dietary preferences
- Transaction data: booking source, confirmation number, status history
From restaurant owners & staff
- Account data: name, email address, role, password (hashed)
- Restaurant data: venue details, capacity, operating hours, images, menus
- Usage data: login history, feature usage, report generation
How We Use Your Data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- To process and confirm reservations including sending confirmation emails and SMS notifications
- To provide the platform including dashboard access, reporting, and AI-powered insights for restaurant owners
- To communicate with you reservation updates, cancellation notices, and service notifications
- To prevent fraud and ensure security detecting abuse, unauthorized access, and policy violations
- To improve the platform analyzing usage patterns and feedback to develop new features
- To comply with legal obligations as required by Moroccan law and regulatory authorities
Sell your personal data to third parties, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose not listed above without your explicit consent.
Data Sharing
DinerEase shares personal data only in the following limited circumstances:
With partner restaurants
When you make a reservation, your name, contact details, guest count, and special requests are shared with the restaurant you are booking. This is necessary to fulfill your reservation.
With service providers
We use trusted third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing. These providers access data only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
Legal requirements
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority in Morocco or another applicable jurisdiction.
Cookies
DinerEase uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the platform and improve user experience. Cookies we use include:
- Essential cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and security. Cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies: Store your language preference (French / English / Arabic) and display settings.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the Platform. Data is anonymized.
You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from using authenticated features of the Platform.
Your Rights
Under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and applicable data protection principles, you have the right to:
- Access request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Restriction ask us to limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Portability receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection object to processing based on legitimate interests

Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:
- Reservation records: 3 years from the reservation date, for operational and legal purposes
- Account data: For the duration of the account, plus 12 months after closure
- Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default, anonymized)
- Log data: 90 days for security monitoring purposes
Security
DinerEase applies industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit (HTTPS)
- Encrypted storage for sensitive fields including passwords (bcrypt hashing)
- Role-based access controls limiting staff access to relevant data only
- Regular security reviews and infrastructure updates

By Booking Through DinerEase, You Agree
When you complete a reservation through the DinerEase platform whether via our website, a restaurant's booking link, Google, Instagram, Facebook, or any other integrated channel you enter into a direct agreement with the restaurant. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept all policies listed on this page.
Submitting a reservation through DinerEase constitutes acceptance of the restaurant's house policies, including but not limited to no-show policy, dress code, cancellation terms, and any event-specific conditions. These are set by each restaurant and DinerEase acts as the facilitator, not the enforcing party.
Core Guest Policies
No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive without prior cancellation constitutes a no-show. Repeat no-shows may result in restricted access to future bookings on DinerEase.
Dress Code
Many partner restaurants enforce a dress code. This is communicated at the time of booking. Guests who do not comply may be refused entry at the restaurant's discretion.
Cancellation
We ask that you cancel at least 2 hours before your reservation time. Late cancellations affect the restaurant's ability to seat other guests.
Arrival Time
Your reservation is held for a grace period (typically 15 minutes) unless you notify the restaurant. After this period, your table may be released.
No-Show Policy in Detail
A no-show occurs when a guest fails to arrive for their reservation without prior notice. This has a direct and significant impact on the restaurant a reserved table represents blocked capacity that could have served other guests.
What constitutes a no-show
- Not arriving within the restaurant's grace period (typically 15 minutes after the booking time)
- Failing to cancel before the restaurant's cancellation cut-off
- Providing false contact details that prevent the restaurant from reaching you
Consequences of a no-show
- The reservation will be marked as a no-show in our system
- Some restaurants may apply a no-show fee this is at the sole discretion of the restaurant and governed by their individual terms
- Guests with repeated no-shows across the DinerEase network may have their ability to book restricted
- The restaurant retains the right to refuse future reservations from repeated no-show guests
If your plans change, please cancel your reservation as early as possible even 30 minutes' notice helps the restaurant. You can cancel at any time using your confirmation number via the My Reservation page.
Dress Code Policy
DinerEase partners with a range of establishments, from casual neighbourhood restaurants to formal fine dining venues and rooftop venues. Many of these restaurants maintain a specific dress code as part of the experience they offer their guests.
Your responsibility as a guest
- Review any dress code indicated in the restaurant's booking page or confirmation email before your visit
- Ensure your entire party adheres to the stated dress requirements
- When in doubt, err on the side of smart casual or formal attire
Common dress code standards in Morocco
- Smart casual: Clean, presentable clothing; no sportswear, flip-flops, or beachwear
- Business casual: Collared shirts, dress trousers or smart jeans; no trainers
- Formal / Black tie: Suit and tie for men; cocktail or evening dress for women
- Cultural dress code: Some traditional riads and heritage venues may request modest attire
Non-compliance with a restaurant's dress code is grounds for refusal of entry. DinerEase is not liable for any inconvenience arising from a guest being refused entry due to dress code non-compliance. No refund or compensation will be offered in such cases.
Cancellation Policy
DinerEase allows guests to cancel reservations at any time before the booking. However, the restaurant's own cancellation policy takes precedence and may include cut-off times or fees.
How to cancel
- Visit the My Reservation page on dinerease.com
- Enter your confirmation number to retrieve your booking
- Select "Cancel reservation" and provide a brief reason
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation by email
Cancellation reasons accepted
- Guest Request
- Change of plans
- Weather or travel disruption
- Medical reason
- Other (with optional note)
Some restaurants particularly for special events, private dining, or prix-fixe experiences may require a deposit or apply a late cancellation fee. These terms are displayed on the restaurant's event booking page before you confirm your reservation.
Event Bookings
Some reservations are made for special events hosted by restaurants on the DinerEase platform (e.g. wine tastings, themed evenings, private dinners). These carry additional terms:
- Capacity: Event bookings are subject to strict capacity limits. Once sold out, no further reservations can be accepted.
- Pricing: Events may have a per-person price displayed in Moroccan Dirhams (DH). This price is set by the restaurant and is final.
- Access codes: Some events are invitation-only and require a valid access code at the time of booking. Codes are non-transferable.
- Event cancellation by the restaurant: If a restaurant cancels an event, DinerEase will notify registered guests by email. Any applicable refund is handled directly between the guest and the restaurant.
- Guest cancellation: For events, cancellation policies may be stricter. Review the event-specific terms before booking.
By booking a restaurant event through DinerEase, you agree to the restaurant's specific event rules, including any dress code, entry time, dietary restrictions, and conduct expectations communicated via the event description.
Restaurant's Right to Refuse Service
Partner restaurants on DinerEase retain the right to refuse service or entry in circumstances including but not limited to:
- Non-compliance with the dress code
- Disruptive or inappropriate conduct
- Suspicion of intoxication upon arrival
- The guest appearing to be under the legal age for restricted events
- A history of no-shows or bad-faith bookings flagged by the restaurant
DinerEase does not intervene in entry decisions made by restaurant management. These decisions are the sole responsibility of the restaurant and governed by their internal policies and applicable Moroccan law.
